Application and Uses of Marble

1.Marble tiles can be applied over almost any surface.They can be cut to fit specific measurements so it is use in cutting slabs for flooring, countertops. Tiles, and marble slabs have can be useed to face columns and buildings . Marble countertops is good for bakers since the dense stone stays cool and resists oils, which is ideal for rolling out baked goods without sticking to the counter. The elegance and durability of marble make it a perfect choice for kitchens, bathrooms and staircases

2.Marble can take take a very high polish and it has been used for thousands of years in art and architecture. Famous monuments like the Taj Majal and many Rajasthan fort have been built with marble.

3.Marble is also used for various industrial applications. Marble is considered as a rich source for calcium carbonate which is used for the manufacturing of paints, toothpaste etc. Grinded marble is also used as abrasives for soap manufacturing.

4.Marble dust is combined with cement or synthetic resins to make reconstituted or cultured marble. The appearance of marble can be simulated with faux marbling, a painting technique that imitates the stone's color patterns.
